The City of Bixby is a rapidly growing community of approximately 18,000 people. The City is divided in half by the Arkansas River. The Northern part of the city is bordered with the City of Tulsa to the North and Northwest, the City of Broken Arrow to the East. The Southern part of the City is bordered by the City of Jenks, the City of Glenpool, and the unincorporated area of Tulsa County. Three separate, rural sections of the city are several miles from the central part of the city. Part of these areas are located in Wagoner County and one area is in the corner where Tulsa, Wagoner, and Okmulgee County are located. Bixhoma lake is located in Wagoner County. The City of Bixby has one of the lowest crime rates in Tulsa, County.
